Professional Ethics & Skills is one of the most foundational and decisive courses at the Nigerian Law School and in legal practice. Beyond passing examinations, it defines a lawyer’s professional identity, conduct, discipline, and competence throughout their career.

This course provides a clear, structured, and practical understanding of the ethical rules, professional responsibilities, and core skills required of a legal practitioner in Nigeria. It blends doctrinal knowledge of the Rules of Professional Conduct (RPC) with essential skills such as client interviewing, counselling, drafting, law office management, and statutory interpretation.
